“I extend a warm welcome to you. Our fantastic team can be found below.”
Eleanor loves local church and believes Jesus does too, despite our imperfections. As tutor in Practical Theology, Eleanor feels privileged to help shape church ministers and see God’s Spirit at work in forming them and developing their service for God’s people. Having a role in Regional Engagement gives Eleanor a great opportunity to meet and get to know churches, associations and networks of Christians while listening and watching for where God is at work, asking how can the College join him and his Church by supporting and equipping God’s people for loving mission.
Chris loves learning with students as we study the Bible together and are formed into more faithful ministers of the gospel. His PhD was on the characterisation of Paul in Acts, and his main research interests are the New Testament narrative texts (Gospels and Acts).
Simon is an ordained priest in the Church of England and has many years of experience in theological education and ministerial training at a variety of institutions. Simon’s particular interest lies in the Psalms, with his doctoral research focusing on the structure of Hebrew poetry.
