At Tabernacle Baptist Church (Tabs), we long to see people of all ages discovering life in Jesus and growing as wholehearted followers of Him. We believe children and young people are not simply the future of the church; they are a vital part of the church today.
Tabs is a warm, growing, expectant church family in the coastal town of Penarth, South Wales. We are excited to be seeking a gifted, spiritually mature Children, Youth, and Families Worker to help us invest deeply for the next generation.
We have a growing youth ministry, with more than twenty young people attending church each week, with many actively serving in church life. Over seventy children and young people regularly attend our Friday night ministries, Thrive and Thrive Plus.
This is a new role and an exciting opportunity. We are seeking someone who loves Jesus, enjoys people, and has a passion to help children, young people and families grow in faith, confidence and belonging.
