Our research degrees (MTh and PhD) are validated by the University of Aberdeen who rank 12th in the UK, and 2nd in Scotland in the 2025 Guardian University Guide.

We work closely with our partner Trinity College, Bristol, and supervision is shared across the Joint Faculty. MThs and PhDs are available for distance learning; the majority of our students live beyond Bristol and the UK.
