Reflecting a radical shift form the Old Testament assumption of marriage as a norm  and children as an essential aspect of a ‘good life’, Jesus reinterpreted both singleness and marriage in the context of the larger practice of the new community, the church. How was this vision appropriated by the Anabaptists, and what lessons does it offer for us as we face an unprecedented change in the practice of marriage? Please come and listen to Revd Dr Lina Toth, Assistant Principal and Lecturer in Practical Theology at the Scottish Baptist College,

No booking required. Sandwich meals available from 6.30pm, £3.50 donation. To book a sandwich, please email: reception@bristol-baptist.ac.uk
