Baptist History and Principles

Distance Learning

An opportunity to do an introductory study of the story of Baptists in England since 1612, and to look at some of the theological convictions that are important in our identity.

If you are interested in understanding more of who we are and how we have developed, but cannot come to the various college courses on offer, it is possible to do an introductory course by correspondence.

The course is divided into four sections, roughly covering a century each, and we recommend reading for each part. There are several set books.  There is a choice of one essay assignment out of three for each section to help to focus thinking and learning. When completed, the essays are sent in, marked and returned to you.

There is no time limit on the course - it is to be used as and when it suits you.

The cost is £90 (plus the cost of one book)
