Revd Ian Hoskins

Iain studied Youth and Community Work at the YMCA National College, Informal Education at the George Williams College, London and adult Education at Nottingham University.
 
His first ministry of 13 years was with The Boys’ Brigade in the East Midlands followed by ten years as the Mission Adviser for Youth to the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Iain was instrumental in establishing Perspectives – reflections on Christian Youth work.
 
He has also written in The Baptist Times, Baptist Ministers Journal, Perspectives, Drugs Sex and Rock and Role, Small Churches, and is a regular speaker at conferences for and discussing youth work around the world. He is particularly interested in the pastoral care support and settlement conditions given to full time Youth workers in Baptist Churches.
